Art Licensing Enquiry

Art licensing is when you ‘rent’ artwork from a designer to be used for your business and products, in accordance to agreed terms and conditions.

Through licensing, you can use my designs to create stand out products!

A non-exclusive license allows you to license an existing design from me to be printed onto your product, and sold as finished goods.

The same design can also be non-exclusively licensed to other companies, as well as sold through sites such as Spoonflower.

The copyright and ownership of the design is retained by me.

No license is required if you manufacture and sell products from fabric retailers such as Spoonflower.

Terms of an exclusive license must be negotiated and agreed upon by all parties involved before the design process starts.

An exclusive license can be specific to your product and territory. For example, if you have an exclusive license with my design for swimwear in USA, then I may also license the same design to a different territory other than USA, or a different product category (e.g. wallpaper) in USA.

I retain all copyright and ownership of the design.

At the end of the agreed time period of the exclusive license, you may renew the design. If you do not, the licensing rights to the design will return to me.

Please keep in mind that all my patterns are in raster format to retain the textures of my work. For simple blenders, I am able to make adjustments with a specific colour request.

For more complicated, layered designs, background colours can be changed and tweaks within the design are possible.
